What does this mean?

Visits - the number of unique visitors to our website (not the number of times a visitor visits the website)

Pages - the number of different pages that were opened on our website by our visitors.

Files - the total number of hits (requests) that actually resulted in something being sent back to the visitor, not all hits will send data, as the visitor's browser cache files will not be recorded.

Hits - Represent the total number of requests made to the server during the given time period. For example, when a visitor calls up a Web page with four graphics, that's five hits, one for the page and four for the graphics. For this reason, hits often aren't a good indication of Web traffic

Tip - By looking at the difference between hits and files, you can get a rough indication of repeat visitors, as the greater the difference between the two, the more people are requesting pages they already have cached (have viewed already - these are the repeat visitors)
