Save Our Skin

We all love Summer and us South Africans spend a large portion of our time outside. Which is great. We socialise around the braai, swim in our pools and head down to the beach to play in the surf. Being outside is healthy. We just ask that it is done safely. Skin Cancer is the most common form of cancer in our country. People need to be made aware and to receive the right advice.
Save Our Skin aims to educate kids/parents about UV damage and sun safe practices. Children’s sport requires hours in the sun and as such our company has been focusing on schools to change the mind-set towards sun protection. We are in the process of introducing Sun Protection Policies and educational material, taking our lead from New Zealand and Australia. We have asked schools to introduce these policies as part of their life-skills school curriculum.
We also have access to talks by CANSA and acted skits available to schools. We work closely with dermatologists and have CANSA’s support.
If you would like us to talk to your school, please let us know.
